Special programming on the CBC Plaza

We’re so excited that the renovations at CBC are complete. The festival has been quiet on Hamilton Street in previous years and we’re so happy the CBC is planning lots of activities to coincide with The Word On The Street Vancouver and Culture Days! Check out all this great stuff:

Meet the Stars of CBC Television:
Session 1 –
11:30 – 12:30

  • Being Erica (Erin Karpluk, Adam Fergus)

Seating is limited. Following the presentation in Studio 700 the stars will be available for more autographs on the CBC outdoor stage.

Some lucky folks will also have the opportunity to sit at the CBC News Vancouver anchor desk and read a news item about Culture Days. News Hosts Gloria Mararenko and Natalie Clancy will be there to show you the ropes.

Aboriginal Carvers on the CBC Plaza

Richard Krentz and Nelson Leon will be setting up a carving exhibit from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. There will also be a talk and song around the carving at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 pm.
